Whether you're already familiar with HIFU or not,
wouldn't you like to know?
Here's why KC's HIFU is recommended.
In May 2024, we introduced a new model of HIFU equipment.
HIFU, which stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound, is a non-invasive treatment for sagging skin that works by emitting ultrasound waves into the deeper layers of the skin.
The details of the new model's features will be described later, but there are two effects produced by this machine.
- Effects of HIFU
-
- Stimulates collagen neogenesis, resulting in dermal tightening and tissue lifting effects
- Reduces adipocytes, resulting in facial contour refinement
These effects can address concerns such as sagging and fullness around the cheeks, double chin, periorbital laxity, and puffiness under the eyes caused by subcutaneous fat.
At KC, we continue to offer surgical solutions for these concerns. However, for patients who feel hesitant about surgery, believe their condition doesn't warrant a surgical approach, or need results in a shorter timeframe, such as by next week, HIFU presents a viable non-surgical alternative.
Reason 1 why KC's HIFU is recommended
At KC, we offer several HIFU treatment options tailored to individual concerns, determined through consultations with our physicians and nurses. Targeted, precise treatments for specific areas are also available upon request.
Reason 2 why KC's HIFU is recommended
For those who select a treatment plan of 400 shots or more, we offer a post-HIFU care package. This includes a brief 'calming and hydrating' mask application by our therapist to mitigate dermal stress, followed by a professional treatment.
This exemplifies KC's signature 'Soin Technique,' providing an unparalleled relaxation experience.
About Soin Technique
Soin in French means 'attentiveness' or 'thoughtfulness.' At KC, we cherish the spirit of soin.
By providing a sense of satisfaction and reassurance, we aim to balance body and mind, bring out inner beauty, and address various concerns.
Through our therapists' skilled techniques, we focus on releasing tension in the neck, shoulders, and scapular areas. This promotes blood circulation, boosts metabolism, and relaxes muscular tension. As a result, the skin is guided to a brighter, healthier state, reducing facial sagging and wrinkles.
Soin Technique is a special method that not only nurtures the skin but also deeply soothes the mind through treatments enveloped in aromatic fragrances.
The 'ULTRAcel [Zi:]' targets all layers, including the superficial and deep dermis, subcutaneous fat, SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System), and the ligaments supporting the skin. It offers two modes: the Dot Mode, which stimulates collagen production, and the Linear Mode, which promotes the reduction of fat cells.

Improved safety for automatic treatment
using position feedback sensors.
- Other Devices
- Irradiated energy may overlap at the turning point of irradiation.
- Transducer position feedback sensors prevent overlapping of irradiation at the turning point and achieve safe and uniform irradiation.
By customizing the depth of penetration, mode of delivery, and energy settings, it is possible to design a procedure tailored to the patient's desired outcome. Additionally, the device is equipped with a safety sensor to prevent the temperature from exceeding safe levels.
Those who are not eligible for treatment
While medical HIFU is highly effective, please be aware that treatment cannot be performed on those who meet the following criteria, as there is a risk of burns or exacerbation of underlying conditions.
- Those who have metallic threads (gold threads) or metal plates in the treatment area
- Those who have developed diabetic complications
- Those who have implanted medical devices such as a cardiac pacemaker
- Those who have malignant skin tumors, precancerous lesions, or suspected conditions thereof
- Those who are pregnant
- Those who have skin conditions, herpes, keloids, acne, or similar issues in the treatment area
- Those who have heart disease
- Those who have mental health conditions such as alcohol dependence or substance dependence
- Those who have bleeding disorders
Please also consult us if you are taking anticoagulant medications, have undergone thread lifting, or have dental bridges or implants.
