Introduction to Plastic Surgery KC
Clinic Features
-
Welcoming Atmosphere
Private Examination Rooms
To ensure privacy, we have three separate examination rooms. Our system allows doctors, nurses, and staff to move between rooms, so patients can stay in their designated room for both waiting and treatment.
Comfortable Environment for Discussing Women's Concerns
We have a team of three physicians, including the clinic director, vice clinic director, and a female plastic surgeon, all of whom are board-certified by the Japan Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Sayako Takahara, who specializes in cosmetic dermatology, joined our team in April 2024. We are equipped to address concerns that may be difficult to discuss with male doctors.

Efficient care
Prompt Medical Care
We have implemented the latest electronic medical records system, allowing us to request and receive blood and pathology test results online. This enables us to quickly review and report results.
Clear Explanation of Treatment Plans
Our image management system is integrated with our electronic medical records, allowing us to show high-quality images of your treatment progress and clearly explain the treatment plan.
One-Day Operation
All procedures, including implant-based breast reconstruction, breast augmentation, breast reduction, liposuction, and abdominoplasty, are performed as a one-day operation under intravenous sedation and long-acting local anesthesia managed by our clinic director, who is certified by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as an anesthesiologist, or by an anesthesiologist recognized as a certified specialist by the Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists.
Surgery typically begins early in the morning and is completed by noon. In the afternoon, a patient is monitored in a dedicated recovery room. Once he or she has fully awakened and recovered from anesthesia, he or she is allowed to go home, provided he or she is accompanied by a family member or friend. -
Comprehensive Collaboration Within and Outside the Clinic
Collaboration with Partner Hospitals
When special examinations such as a CT scan or MRI are needed, we request these services from affiliated hospitals. If inpatient surgery is required, we collaborate on the surgery with the Department of Plastic Surgery at Okinawa Prefectural Nambu Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center, or at Yuuai Medical Center.
Beauty Therapist
We address photoaging concerns such as spots, wrinkles, and sagging using various laser treatments, light therapies, HIFU, and functional skincare systems, in collaboration with experienced beauty therapists.

Major Events Since Opening
Active Aging Seminar Held
To provide tips for "maintaining both physical and mental health and enjoying life positively," we have held seminars for our guests and the general public. In collaboration with Protea Japan Co. Ltd., we began these seminars in 2007, with subsequent events held in 2008 and 2010. These seminars have been a valuable opportunity to share important information on maintaining healthy skin and body, and to help attendees understand the concept and goals of our Plastic Surgery KC.
Start of Medical Services in Dubai
The clinic director began preparations for obtaining a medical license in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2009. After passing document reviews and two rounds of interviews, he started practicing in Dubai in 2011. Currently, he continues to work in Dubai approximately every three months, four times a year.
Dubai Training Tour
In July 2012, we organized a five-day, two-night training tour with our clinic staff and twenty of our valued guests who have supported us since our opening. The tour focused on a lecture by Mr. Ichiro Fukuda, who served as a liaison between the clinic director and Dubai, and site visits around the city. It was a rich and fulfilling tour with substantial content.
Obtained Full Membership in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
To keep up with rapidly advancing techniques in plastic and aesthetic surgery and to gather information on the latest treatment equipment, the clinic director attends international conferences, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, every year and also presents case studies. Recognizing his commitment and experience as a cosmetic surgeon, he obtained full membership in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in January 2013. As of April 2020, there are only five Japanese individuals, including him, who hold this qualification.
Relocation to the Times Building
In February 2013, we relocated to the 6th floor of the Times Building in Kumoji, Naha City. Based on the experience and reflections gained over the first five years of operation, we were able to embody the spirit and sensibility of our clinic director and provide a safe and comfortable clinic environment for all patients.
Hosted the Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
On January 11, 2020, the clinic director, as the conference chair, hosted the 137th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at Halekulani Okinawa. The event was a success, with numerous plastic and aesthetic surgeons from across the country participating.
