Cosmetic Surgery
Eyelids
Double eyelid
Outline of Surgery
Based on evaluations of the thickness of skin and of subcutaneous fat, and of levator muscle function, we shape natural double eyelids in the most suitable way. Since we use a thin needle (33G) for local anesthesia to perform the surgery, pain while anesthetizing and swelling after the surgery can be mitigated. It is possible to adjust the width of the crease and to change the shape, such as to a parallel type or to a tapered type, by changing the position for performing the suture. You can decide on the desired line of the double eyelid during the simulation performed while sitting before surgery. The surgical method to form a double eyelid crease by suture without cutting is called the “buried suture method”. Although we basically use the three-point method, we recommend the incision method for those who have thick eyelids. With incision double eyelid surgery, the aponeurosis of the levator muscle and the tarsal, and of the orbicular oculi muscle and the aponeurosis, are sutured and fixed. By doing so, a clear double eyelid can be created.
Course of Surgery
One month before the scheduled date of the surgery, a blood test will be performed, and at that time, 20% of the surgery fee will be required as a deposit. In general, we perform the surgery under local anesthesia in the morning, ask you to stay in the recovery room for observation for about one hour after surgery, and then let you go home. You are not allowed to drive on the day of surgery. If you are taking a medicine with platelet aggregation inhibiting activity, we ask you to stop taking it for two weeks before the surgery if possible.
Points to Note Before / after Surgery
In order to prevent swelling and internal bleeding after surgery, it is important to applying icing on the wounded area for two days, on the day and the day after. Swelling will go down gradually in one or two weeks. We also offer care using INDIBA for improving swelling quickly. We remove stitches one week later.
Epicanthoplasty
Outline of Surgery
When the epicanthic fold is prominent, it gives the impression that the distance between eyes is too wide. This can be improved by shaping the inner corner of the eyes. We mainly use this method to apply Z-epicanthoplasty for surgery.

Upper blepharoplasty (removal of sagging)
Outline of Surgery
The important thing in upper eyelid surgery to remove sagging is to create a natural double eyelid line with thin skin. So, by evaluating the thickness of the skin and the degree of sagging, we decide whether to excise the skin below the eye brow or on the double eyelid crease.
Course of Surgery
One month before the scheduled date of the surgery, a blood test will be performed, and at that time, 20% of the surgery fee will be required as a deposit. Supra/infra-brow excision blepharoplasty
Outline of Surgery
In cases where the upper eyelid appears thick and sagging, skin is excised below the eyebrow. This approach is taken to achieve a natural double eyelid line with thinner skin, and the scar will eventually heal to be discreet and aesthetically pleasing.
Course of Surgery
One month before the scheduled date of the surgery, a blood test will be performed, and at that time, 20% of the surgery fee will be required as a deposit. Lower blepharoplasty / Baggy eyelids correction
Outline of Surgery
By evaluating the degree of saggy skin and baggy eyelids (lower eyelid bulge), we decide whether to incise below the eyelashes or on the conjunctiva side. We improve the unevenness of the eyelids by removing or moving excess fat. If the skin is very saggy, we carefully excise the excess portions.
Course of Surgery
One month before the scheduled date of the surgery, a blood test will be performed, and at that time, 20% of the surgery fee will be required as a deposit. In general, we perform the surgery in the morning and ask you to stay in the recovery room for observation after surgery. If there is no problem at the site of surgery and you are clearly conscious, you are allowed to go home when you become able to walk to the toilet by yourself, provided you are accompanied by a family member or friend. You are not allowed to drive on the day of surgery. If you are taking a medicine with platelet aggregation inhibiting activity, we ask you to stop taking it for two weeks before the surgery if possible. We provide documents explaining points to note before/after surgery on the day you decide the date of surgery. Please read them carefully prior to the surgery.

We will remove stitches one week later. Removal of stitches is not required for the sutured part of the conjunctiva.
Lower blepharoplasty (reduction of dark circles under the eyes)
Outline of Surgery
There are three main reasons for dark circles under the eyes. “Brown dark circles” are caused by hyperpigmentation in the skin. “Purple dark circles” are caused by thinner skin that allows blood vessels and muscles beneath the skin to become visible. “Shadowed dark circles” are caused by saggy skin and baggy eyes (lower eyelid bulge). Of course, the problem is sometimes caused by more than one factor. Shadowed dark circles and purple dark circles are often combined. In such cases, we remove excess fat in the eye sockets from the conjuctiva side and inject autologous fat in the form of nanofat.

We evaluate body shape, the size and shape of the breasts, check the positions of the nipple areola and nipple, check skin condition, and then decide on the skin incision line. We lift up sagged mammary tissue to the necessary and sufficient degree, fix it in place, remove excess skin, and suture according to a careful plan to minimize scarring using a technique of plastic surgery. Duration of the surgery is about four hours. It is a one-day operation performed using a combination of intravenous anesthesia and local anesthesia.
Points to Note Before / after Surgery
We remove the drain for drainage the day after surgery, and stitches one week later. After stitch removal, taping is very important and you need to continue doing so for three months while changing it once a week. You can do exercises such as running one month after the surgery.
Making the nipple-areola and nipple smaller (nipple / areola reduction)
Outline of Surgery
We evaluate the size, shape and skin condition of the nipple areola and nipple, listen to the desired size, consider the future possibility of breast-feeding, and then deciden on the skin incision line. We carefully suture so that scarring is unnoticeable. The duration of surgery is one hour for nipple reduction only, or one and a half hours for nipple areola reduction only. In either case, it is performed under local anesthesia.

Male breast reduction (fixing gynecomastia)
Outline of Surgery
We use ultrasound inspection to determine whether the cause is due to enlarged mammary tissue, fat deposits or both. Based on the result, we decide on the operative procedure, whether liposuction alone is enough, or whether removal of mammary tissue is also required.

Mammoplasty for gender incongruence
Outline of Surgery
We use ultrasound inspection to evaluate body shape, size, shape and position of the breasts, size and shape of the nipple areola and nipple, skin condition, as well as the size of the mammary tissue itself and the thickness of fat, and then decide on an operative procedure. You will need surgery at least twice, the first time for removal of mammary tissue (or nipple areola reduction in some cases), the second time for nipple reduction and liposuction, to make the chest contours more masculine. Most people can finish the treatment with only slight scarring around the nipple areola. The duration of surgery is two to three hours for removal of mammary tissue, and about two hours for nipple reduction and liposuction. Each is a one-day operation performed using a combination of intravenous anesthesia and local anesthesia.

Accessory breast removal
Outline of Surgery
Depending on the position, size, and shape of the accessory breast, we remove it by the most suitable way so that scarring is unnoticeable. The duration of surgery is about one to two hours. In most cases, it can be performed under only local anesthesia, but local anesthesia in combination with intravenous anesthesia may sometimes be required depending on the size. In either case, it is a one-day operation.
* The operation fee is decided after consultation.

Liposuction / Fat injection
VASER liposuction
Outline of Surgery
We introduced VASER Lip in September 2012, and since then, we have used it for liposuction. As it utilizes ultrasound energy for the pretreatment of liposuction, it is possible to suck out the fat more reliably and with less pain and swelling, as well as with faster recovery after surgery, compared to conventional methods. After surgery, for faster recovery from swelling and internal bleeding, and a more beautiful finish without roughness, we use a high frequency therapeutic apparatus called INDIBA for care. For any portion, it is a one-day operation performed using a combination of intravenous anesthesia and local anesthesia.

Points to Note Before / after Surgery
Immediately after surgery, in order to prevent swelling and internal bleeding, constant pressure needs to be applied by a belt and garment suitable for each site of liposuction. We temporarily release the pressure in three days to check the condition of the site, and allow you to take a shower accordingly. We remove stitches one week after surgery. It is very important to apply constant pressure to achieve a satisfactory finish, so you need to continue doing so for one month after surgery. You can do exercises such as running one month after the surgery.
CRF injection
Outline of Surgery
Condensed Rich Fat (CRF) is enriched fat made from fat tissue collected using low negative pressure suction and refined by centrifugal separation in a closed circuit. We suck fat from your desired part, and carefully inject it into your desired part little by little to improve the engraftment rate. It is applicable mainly for the face, breasts and buttocks. The duration of surgery depends on the injected part and the amount of injection. It is a one-day operation performed using a combination of intravenous anesthesia and local anesthesia.
